Cracker Assignment - Windows
The Cracker Photography assignment for this month was windows. One morning as I walked along the mordy creek I noticed the sun through the windows of the boats. This one looks a little sad but friendly.

The April cracker assignment was to take a photo inspired by the meaning of your name. As Dean means valley or leader of ten people, I thought that I would rather look at what I carry. After all aren't we partly the things we carry? Given the proliferation of externalization I believe there hasn't been a time that this has been more true...

Rosamond Cafe
I like to find any occasion to go to the dessert nights at Rosamond Cafe. Each dish is a delicate arrangement that together form some truly inspired flavour combinations; ranging from the amazingly bizarre to the nostalgic. At a recent visit a hint of apricot reminded me of long forgotten visits to relatives back in South Africa. It's amazing how certain flavours unlock memories...
