The Cracker Photography assignment for this month was windows. One morning as I walked along the mordy creek I noticed the sun through the windows of the boats. This one looks a little sad but friendly.

I like to find any occasion to go to the dessert nights at Rosamond Cafe. Each dish is a delicate arrangement that together form some truly inspired flavour combinations; ranging from the amazingly bizarre to the nostalgic. At a recent visit a hint of apricot reminded me of long forgotten visits to relatives back in South Africa. It's amazing how certain flavours unlock memories...
